These 4 naturally dyed raw silk pieces were hand printed and hand dyed by me with maple leaves, walnut hulls and logwood chips.
The fabric has a nubby, substantial, almost cottony texture.
These fabrics have some unintended speckles and areas of inconsistent color.

From left to right
*The lavender piece was dyed with logwood and measures about 14" x 20".
*The eco-print piece was printed with silver maple leaves and measures approximately 8" x 40"
*The medium brown piece was dyed with walnut hulls and measures about 16" x 26".
*The light tan piece was dyed with walnut hulls and measures about 14" x 24"

I've done my best to portray the true colors of these naturally dyed silk pieces.
The colors seem to shift slightly depending on the light in which they are seen.
Please keep in mind that every screen displays color in its' own way.

These fabrics can be used for any textile art project to add a touch of lovely, natural color.
I recommend hand washing in cool water with mild soap and line drying in the shade to preserve the texture and color of the silk.
