This group of 16 pieces of silk fabric were hand dyed by me with natural indigo, madder, coreopsis and marigold flowers, and walnut hulls.
The colors are various shades of yellow, red, blue, purple, green, and warm brown.
*There are speckles, imperfections, and mottling in the depth of color of these silk pieces.*
Most of these fabrics are new, leftover from other projects. A couple of these silks are from vintage dresses. All were hand dyed with natural plant dyes.

The silk types include medium and very lightweight habotai, charmeuse, and crepe de chine.
The smallest of these silk scraps measures about 7" x 9".
The largest measures about 12" x 16"
Several measure from about 11" x 12" to 12" x 14".

I've done my best to portray the true colors of this naturally dyed silk.
The colors seem to shift slightly depending on the light in which they are seen.
Please keep in mind that each monitor displays color in its' own way.

I recommend hand washing in cool water with mild soap and line drying in the shade to preserve the delicate luster and color of the silk.
Iron carefully with low heat.
