This listing is for a set of 4 vintage wooden spools wound with naturally dyed silk embroidery thread.
The colors include shades of light pink and orange, rose and a spool of slightly variegated pink and orange dyed with madder roots.
This 2-ply silk thread is non divisible.
The amount of naturally dyed silk thread on each spool measures approximately 20 yards.

The threads were hand dyed and wound by me onto each vintage wooden spool.
Since these wooden spools have been previously used, most of them have nicks, dents, and missing labels.

I've done my best to show the true naturally dyed shades of these silk threads.
Please remember that each computer monitor displays color in its' own way.
These naturally dyed silk threads are perfect any textile art project that could use a touch of lovely, natural color.
I recommend hand washing in cool water with mild soap and line drying in the shade to preserve the delicate luster and color of the silk.
