This group of 10 naturally dyed raw silk pieces were hand dyed by me with indigo leaves, walnut hulls and madder root dyes.
The fabric has a nubby, substantial, almost cottony texture.
These fabrics have some spots, speckles and areas of inconsistent color.

*They range in size from about 11" x 16" to 16" x 24".
I've done my best to portray the true colors of these naturally dyed silk pieces.
The colors seem to shift slightly depending on the light in which they are seen.
Please keep in mind that each monitor displays color in its' own way.

These fabrics can be used for any textile art project to add a touch of lovely, natural color.
I recommend hand washing in cool water with mild soap and line drying in the shade to preserve the texture and color of the silk.
