This unusual quilt was made from dozens of pairs of blue jeans.
It was pieced as a sampler of patchwork designs, including a couple of my favorite traditional log cabin patterns
It also features the pockets from blue jeans and parts of overalls.

The colors range from pale blue to deep midnight blue with a sprinkle of snow white.
The backing is a fresh navy blue and white woven cotton plaid.
The fabric is all cotton.
This quilt has a polyester batting for lightness since blue jean quilts can be pretty heavy already.

This recycled-blue jeans quilt is machine quilted along seam lines for durability.

Measures approximately 60" x 82"

This quilt is perfect for a smaller bed, to toss on the couch, or to take along camping.
Blue jean quilts are perfect for boys and men - the fabric is interesting, strong, and soft, without being "frilly", and , of course, blue jean quilts are blue!

The material is really strong but soft. I've made many blue jean quilts for family, friends and for sale. They have held up to lots of rough treatment and maintain their beauty and strength as they mellow through the years.

This blue jean quilt may be washed and dried by machine.

Although technical sewing precision is admirable, it is not the main focus of my quilts.
I aim primarily for vibrant, expressive colors, rich textures, interesting designs and durability.
Each of my quilts is truly one of a kind, handmade with thoughtfulness and care, but they are not "factory-uniform".
