These five, (5), pieces of very lightweight silk gauze were hand dyed by me with madder roots, fresh indigo leaves, and coreopsis flowers, harvested from plants in our backyard garden.
This fabric is very delicate, soft and sheer - transparent when flat, but it shows the naturally dyed color beautifully when it's folded or scrunched.
There are imperfections and inconsistencies in the fabric and the depth of color.

*The pale indigo ombre piece was dyed with fresh indigo leaves. It measures approximately 22"x 36".
*The medium dark blue piece was dyed with indigo. It measures approximately 20" x 36".
*The greenish-yellow piece was dyed with coreopsis flowers and fresh indigo leaves. It measures approximately 20" x 30". This fabric is very mottled and uneven in tone.
*The pink piece was dyed with madder roots. measures approximately 24" x 36".
*The light blue piece was dyed with fresh indigo leaves. It measures approximately 20" x 36".

I've done my best to show the true natural shades of this silk fabric.
Please remember that every computer screen displays color in its own way.
This fabric is perfect for layering, flower making or any textile art project that could use a touch of lovely, natural color.

I recommend hand washing in cool water with mild soap or shampoo and line drying in the shade to preserve the delicate luster and color of the silk.
This silk may be ironed carefully with low heat.
